The Solution

Ocean-themed fixtures for a tropical escape

When off-the-rack won’t do

The developer team around famed musician Jimmy Buffett was looking to add that special touch to it’s uniquely appointed resort. Often compared to quaint European and funky California beach towns a faucet design was sought that complements the hotels causal tropical style.

The Challenge

The client presented the idea of incorporating a whale tail into the faucet handle to support the tropical and aquatic theme of the hotel. It is also an unexpected detail that is entirely unique. The Pfister Design Team experimented with various options and finally arrived at a magnificent design that pleased both the client and delights his customers.

Jimmy Buffett and Pfister go to Tennessee

Pfister’s Custom Whale Tail faucet with its uniquely shaped handles and a ribbon spout water delivery was such a success that Jimmy Buffet and his group decided to also specify it as the signature feature for his new Margaritaville Island Hotel at Pigeon Forge, TN.
